The verdant Tapada Nacional de Mafra of great environmental value, unique scenery of wildlife where you can observe birds, deers, wild boards, foxes, badgers, and many other wild interesting animals.<\/p>\r\n

The Convent of Mafra is the most important Portuguese Baroque monument, immortalized by the Portuguese Nobel Prize Jos\u00e9 Saramago in his novel \u201cMemorial do Convento\u201d.<\/p>\r\n

Cabo da Roca is Europe\u2019s most western point, described by the poet Lu\u00eds de Cam\u00f5es as the place \u201cwhere the land ends and the sea begins\u201d.<\/p>\r\n
